Yes. FlowVoice uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture. Groq Cloud offers a generous free tier for developers and personal users that provides thousands of minutes of transcription every month at zero cost. You will never be asked for a subscription or credit card.
Your API key is saved exclusively on your local computer in config.json inside your local app directory. It is never transmitted to us or any analytics server. All network requests travel directly between your machine and official Groq endpoints over encrypted TLS 1.3 connections.
